If you’re looking for a family-friendly RV resort in Virginia, look no further than Grey’s Point Camp. Nestled along the picturesque Rappahannock River, this campground offers something for everyone, from relaxing pools to fun-filled activities. Whether you’re a seasoned RVer or just looking for a weekend getaway, Grey’s Point Camp is worth the trip.

Spacious and Comfortable Sites

One of the standout features of Grey’s Point Camp is the RV sites. The majority are pull-through with a concrete pad, a small grass area, picnic table, and fire pit. While the space may seem compact, there’s plenty of room to enjoy the outdoors. A few gravel back-in sites are available, but they’re in the minority. We found the pull-through sites to be perfect for a comfortable and convenient stay. Plus, the staff is incredibly friendly and eager to assist with any needs, making your stay even more enjoyable.

Fun-Filled Activities for All Ages

During our stay, we were impressed by the variety of scheduled activities. Two of our favorites were the crafts and the watermelon eating contest. The campground goes above and beyond to provide entertainment for all ages, with activities ranging from live music to food trucks. If you love a lively atmosphere, the weekend entertainment will not disappoint!

The Pools: A Highlight of Our Stay

The pools at Grey’s Point Camp were, hands down, a major highlight. With three pools to choose from, all staffed by lifeguards, it’s easy to spend an entire day poolside. One pool even has a splash pad and two water slides, providing endless fun for the kids. Throughout the day, music plays by the pool, creating a laid-back vacation vibe. There’s also a poolside café, where you can grab snacks and drinks without leaving the fun.

Beach Access and Golf Carts

In addition to the pools, Grey’s Point Camp offers access to a beautiful beach on the Rappahannock River. The water is calm and inviting, perfect for a refreshing swim. However, the beach can be a bit tricky to access, as there is no dedicated parking nearby. Many campers use golf carts to get around, and the campground is very golf cart-friendly. If you don’t have a golf cart, you’ll need to walk to the beach, but the walk isn’t too bad. And don’t worry—if golf carts aren’t your thing, you’ll still have a wonderful time!
